Welcome to Grace Hobbs Vet Physio

I am a  Veterinary Physiotherapist registered with the Register of Animal Musculoskeletal Practitioners
and member of the National Association of Veterinary Physiotherapists, holding a First Class Honours degree in Veterinary Physiotherapy.

Working in and around Gloucestershire, I cater for your horses, dogs (and anything in between!).

My services include full static, dynamic and palpation assessment to advise and create a treatment specifically designed for  your horse or dog’s musculoskeletal system, incorporating manual techniques, electrotherapies and remedial exercise prescription to help reduce pain and discomfort and improve function, reduced performance and their overall quality of life.

What is Veterinary Physiotherapy?

Physiotherapy is now extensively renowned within the veterinary industry.

It is a significant part in the rehabilitation process of an animal and has a great importance in improving an animal’s performance, supporting their recovery, returning mobility, function and overall quality of life.

Veterinary physiotherapy focuses on the wellbeing of the musculoskeletal system to help with pain management and prevention of future injuries.

Why can you trust a qualified Vet Physio?

In order to be an accredited Vet Physio, you must be registered with a governing body (such as the AHPR or NAVP) which ensures your competency and excellence in your speciality, is regularly up to date.

Vet physios use an evidence based approach, adapting what has been tried and tested scientifically to create a treatment for your animal.

Every animal is treated with empathy for individuality: with a unique character, background and case which leads to the design of their own tailored treatment.

What our clients have to say...

"Grace is wonderful. We have a 6 year old Labrador cross who was diagnosed with hip dysplasia in September 2021. It was pretty much end of the line, as the vets said he wasn’t suitable for hip replacements.  A friend suggested we contact Grace.

After a few months of daily  exercises (recommended by Grace) and regular home visits from her to carry out exercises, physio and laser therapy, there was a definite improvement. We are now 17 months down the line and Rocky is strong, fit and healthy, able to walk long distances and run and play.

We absolutely believe Grace saved him and are so grateful. She is wonderfully calm, kind, warm, knowledgeable and gentle. We cannot recommend her highly enough. Thank you Grace!"
